Old Newton Bowls Club is a very friendly club, situated in the village of Old Newton, just 3 miles from the town of Stowmarket in Suffolk.
We play Federation Lawn Bowls and during 2024 we will play in the Stowmarket & District League on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Tuesday afternoons, Tuesday evenings in the Area D Triples league and Thursday evenings in the Bury League. We also take part in knockout cup competitions within these leagues and County, as well as our own Club knockout competitions. Our Open Tournament is always a popular event as are friendly matches during the bowling season and social events during the winter.
We welcome new members, whether they are new to bowls or experienced players, and we accommodate all abilities and all ages.
